The Welsh Premier League have released their fixtures for Phase 1 of the 2017/18 season and also announced the start of a new Thursday night broadcasting deal.

The new campaign will officially get underway on Friday 11 August with champions The New Saints’ visit to Bangor City the highlight of a triple header.

Bala Town will also play host to Newtown and newly promoted Prestatyn will entertain last season’s runners-up Connah’s Quay on the same evening.

Barry Town’s long awaited return to the Welsh Premier League is televised live on Sunday afternoon when Aberystwyth Town visit Jenner Park.

Cefn Druids start their campaign at home to Cardiff Met and Llandudno will face Carmarthen Town on the Saturday 12 August.

The league and its broadcast partners Sgorio have also confirmed that from September a total of 19 games will be streamed live on Facebook Live on Thursday nights.
