Newport County have signed midfielder Dale Gorman from League Two rivals Leyton Orient on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has played 17 matches for Orient this season, but has not figured since their 4-2 defeat to Forest Green Rovers in November.
A Northern Ireland international at U21 level, Gorman began his league career with Stevenage in May 2015 after leaving hometown club, Letterkenny Rovers.
Newport manager Michael Flynn said: “It’s great news to get Dale in. He’s another who will add competition to the squad.
“He’s a fierce tackler and was very highly thought of by Justin Edinburgh as well, who signed him.
“He’s someone who I have known about for a while and he has been one of my targets for some time. I am delighted to get Dale signed.”
Gorman said: “I am delighted to sign. It’s happened pretty quickly to be honest, exactly how I’d prefer, and I can’t wait to get going.
“I’ll give my all, work my socks off for the team every game, and, hopefully, bring my energy to the team.
“I like to get on the ball, try and make things happen, but I also love the dirty side of the game as well. County fans can always expect 100% off me.”
Flynn is also open to signing 32-year-old former Wales midfielder Joe Ledley, who is without a club after ending a brief stint at Charlton.
“Nothing is happening at the minute but I’ll speak to Joe,” added Flynn.
“He obviously wants to come back home and I’ve said that we get on really well, he’s a good lad. And I’m sure we will have a conversation before the window ends, but I need to get a right-back in first.
“Yes, it would be a great name. Yes, it would be good publicity. Yes, it would be a boost for the supporters.
“But I’ve got to think about what’s best for getting me results. And if I haven’t got a right-back then it’s going to be a good start to get one in.”
