Both Cardiff City and Swansea City face opponents from Flintshire in the Welsh Youth Cup semi-finals.
Coach Craig Bellamy’s young Bluebirds play Airbus Broughton, while the Swans have been drawn against Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Both ties will be played on Sunday, March 18 at neutral venues to be chosen.
Cardiff powered to a 7-0 win against Aberystwyth Town in their quarter-final at Cardiff International Sports Campus, while Swansea scored six goals against Newport County.
Sion Spence (4), Sam Bowen (2) and Harry Pilchard scored the goals for Cardiff.
Midfield player Spence, from Barry, took his goals tally for the season to 20 thanks to his four-goals hail and then he struck again when Cardiff defeated Millwall 1-0 in the Under-18 Professional Development League.
The match was played at Vale Resort and Spence netted a second half winner to earn a fifth successive victory for Bellamy’s boys.
Cardiff played some outstanding football against a competitive Millwall team. The passing and movement by the home team was good to watch and City should have scored during the opening 15 minutes with Spence and Laurence Wootton, a former schoolboy player at Stoke City, were key players through the middle.
Millwall’s best chance came when centre-forward Matt Neary broke clear and touched the ball past goalkeeper George Ratcliffe as he charged off his line.
It looked a certain goal with Neary in front of an open net, but he was denied when full-back Tristan Jones, working hard to cover, caught the Millwall man and produced a brilliant challenge.
Jones took the ball cleanly, knocked the ball to safety and left Neary devastated.
The next match for Cardiff’s youth team is against Watford away on Saturday (10.30am).
