Wrexham have 10 matches to fire up their Vanarama National League promotion.
Manager Dean Keates and his players are unbeaten in 12 matches and in a position to challenge, but they have to start winning – and fast.
The Reds have kept six clean sheets in their latest run, but nine of the 12 have ended in draws.
Keates takes his team to Kent this Saturday where their play Ebbsfleet United, who are five points behind Wrexham.
Their next home match is a local derby against Chester on Sunday, March 11 (Noon).
Scott Quigley scored both Wrexham goals in their last match, a 2-2 draw against Aldershot, and he has netted six goals in six appearances.
Keates has also added to his attacking options by signing defender-turned-striker Simon Ainge on loan from Harrogate until the end of this season.
Ainge, 30, made his debut against Aldershot, going on with three minutes left and setting up Quigley. A deft flicked header by Ainge sent Quigley running free, but he failed to find the net.
Wrexham travel to Gravesend in Kent intent on earning the win they need, having dropped eight points adrift of leaders Macclesfield.
“Wrexham are a team at the top end of the league, and I believe we can earn promotion,” said Ainge. .
“It has been a really good season at Harrogate. They are top in the league below, but I’ve always said that I wanted to test myself as high as I can and for me.
“After switching from defence to attack playing at National League level is the next step.
“I wasn’t actively looking to move, but once this opportunity came up I was interested. I beleve Wrexham can earn promotion.”
Ainge has scored 33 goals for Harrogate over the last 12 months, having adapted to his new role in style.
Hosts Ebbsfleet include former Cardiff City trainee Luke Coulson in their team. St Helens-born Coulson, 23, was with Manchester City before joining the Bluebirds.
