Caernarfon Town will be hoping to deny The New Saints the chance to return to the top of the table tonight, in a rare Monday night Welsh Premier League fixture (7.45).

A win could elevate Caernarfon above Newtown into fourth-place and cast a dent in The New Saints’ title challenge.

Scott Ruscoe’s side trail leaders Connah’s Quay by two points with this fixture being their game in-hand. Any advantage the Saints take could be short-lived however, with Connah’s Quay back in action on Tuesday night at home to Bala Town.

A late Nathan Craig penalty clinched the Cofis the points when the two sides last met at Park Hall, while the Saints claimed a convincing 3-0 win in their previous clash at The Oval.

Full-back Joe Williams and striker Jamie Breese both miss out through suspension for Caernarfon, while The New Saints will be without midfielder Tom Holland, who is also suspended.
