Wales wing Harry Wilson is relishing the chance of regular games after joining Hull City on loan for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old has made the move from Liverpool just hours after agreeing a new long-term deal with the club.

The Wrexham-born forward joins the Tigers relegation fight with Nigel Adkins’ side only above the drop zone on goal difference.

Hull have failed to score in seven of their last eight Championship games.

Wilson said: “As soon as I found out that Hull City were interested I really wanted to make the move, so thankfully everything got done fairly quickly.

“I feel that it’s the right time for me to make this move, making the step into a first team changing room and into the Championship.

“It’s a great challenge and one that I’m looking forward to.”

Wilson is a product of the Academy at Anfield and made his senior debut for the Reds as a substitute in an FA Cup win against Plymouth Argyle last season.

He also had a spell on loan with Crewe Alexandra during the 2015/16 season.

Wilson was capped by Chris Coleman aged just 16 years 207 days after coming off the bench against Belgium in 2013 to become Wales’ youngest player.

But Wilson has been in prolific form for the under 23 team scoring 10 gals before making the move to Hull.
