The JD Welsh Premier League have released the fixture schedule for ‘Phase 2’ of the season.

With each team having played one another home and away in the first phase, the league now splits into two six-club conferences giving each team a further ten games.

The Championship Conference clash between Connah’s Quay and Bala Town will kick off the second stage of the season on Thursday 1st February with the game streamed live on Facebook.

Cefn Druids, who snatched an unlikely top-six spot, begin their Phase 2 campaign with a difficult home encounter with league leaders The New Saints.

Competition is expected to be fierce in the bottom-six Play-Off Conference with teams battling to finish in seventh-place in order to claim a play-off place, as well as avoiding the two relegation spaces.

Championship Conference: The New Saints 53 points; Connah’s Quay 41; Bangor City 39; Bala Town 39; Cardiff Met 38; Cefn Druids 31.

Play-Off Conference: Llandudno 28 points; Newtown 27; Barry Town 27; Aberystwyth 22; Prestatyn 15; Carmarthen 12.
