Jamal Lowe has urged his team-mates not to throw away their good start when Swansea City resume their Championship campaign on Saturday.
Fourth-placed Swans resume after the international break by entertaining 19th placed Huddersfield before making the trip next Tuesday to Coventry City who are 18th.
Steve Cooper’s side have collected 10 points from their opening four games and could be bolstered if they can agree a loan move for Liverpool’s Wales ace Harry Wilson.
“We are unbeaten and, on a personal level, it’s been really good to get a goal early in the season,” said the summer signing from Wigan who scored at Wycombe.
“It’s good to get up and running. I just want to keep that going. A good start doesn’t mean anything if we don’t build on it.
“It’s only four games, there is a really long way to go and we know there is a really busy period coming up.
“So, it’s key that we take the good and bad points from these first games, and make sure we keep developing and keep improving.”
Lowe has started every game of Swansea’s unbeaten run and is hopeful of maintaining the early promise he has shown.
“I’m really happy with how things have gone so far,” the 26-year-old told swanseacity.com
“Everyone at the club has been so helpful and welcoming to me, my family have settled into our new home and that’s always a big help to know things are okay on that score.
“That allows me to focus on doing the best I can on the pitch, and we have started off pretty well.”
Cooper’s hopes of a promotion push would be boosted if they can secure Wilson – who is with Wals on international duty – on a loan deal.
The Wrexham-born player looked to be heading for Burnley in a permanent deal but the £20m deal seemed to have stalled that deal.
But Cooper can highlight the progress made by Rhian Brewster on his loan spell from the Reds last season before the striker joined Sheffield United last month.
The 23-year-old is also reportedly being chased by Cardiff City, Derby County and Nottingham Forest.
