Guidolin has also been referred to a respiratory specialist in London.

Swans stalwart Alan Curtis is likely to take charge for Saturday’s vital Premier League clash with Norwich City at the Liberty Stadium.

A Swans statement said: ”Francesco remains comfortable in hospital and is receiving excellent care and treatment.

“He is making good progress and is in good spirits following the result at Arsenal.

“The club is in close contact with Francesco and his consultant and his progress is being reviewed on a regular basis.

“No release date from hospital has been confirmed at present.”

The Swans are six points above the drop zone following the unexpected win at the Emirates after goals from Wayne Routledge and skipper Ashley Williams.
