Captain Sam Bowen and his Cardiff City team were left without a Professional Development League match today.
The young Bluebirds were due to play Sheffield United away, but the fixture was called off because the pitch in South Yorkshire is frozen.
United called it off in time to stop Cardiff’s team travelling and the game will be rearranged.
The next League game for City is against Queens Park Rangers at Cardiff International Sports Campus, Leckwith next Saturday (Noon).
Bowen, the son of former City playmaker Jason, will then lead the team out for their Welsh Youth Cup quarter-final against Llanelli at home on the first Sunday in February.
City remain three points clear at the top of the PDL Under-18 table because second-placed Ipswich Town did not have a fixture scheduled.
