Former Bangor City player Ryan Edwards scored the only goal of the match for Airbus Broughton in their Huws Gray Alliance match against Penrhyncoch.
Edwards, who is in his second spell with Airbus, fired home after eight minutes at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
Airbus completed an Alliance double against Penrhyncoch thanks to that goal by Edwards, who scored from the edge of the penalty area after Alfons Fosu-Mensah’s who was parried by goalkeeper Leigh Jenkins.
Fosu-Mensah and Kristian Platt were denied by saves, while Jenkins made two good stops in succession from Fosu-Mensah and Abou Sanogo.
At the other end Airbus keeper Andy Coughlin tipped a shot from Nashwan Blake onto a post, while Jon Foligno had the ball in the net for the Roosters but his header was flagged offside
Sanogo, a 6ft 4ins central midfield player, made his debut for Airbus. The former Northwich Victoria and Warrington Town player is one of four new arrive also at the club this month.

Leaders Caernarfon Town won 2-1 against Flint Town United away and manager Sean Eardley said: “It’s a crucial win.
“My team showed qualities again, particularly when we were down to 10 men.
“With Niall (McGuiness) in the manager’s job at Flint now they will finish in the top half of the table.”
Caernarfon had Jay Gibbs sent off on a straight red card after half an hour and Eardley set up his team with two banks of four in defence and midfield plus the outstanding Jamie Breese in attack.
Gibbs was dismissed after reacting badly during an off-the-ball incident.
Danny Brookwell hit a post after chipping over goalkeeper Nik Lee-Bulmer, while it was Breese who fired Caernarfon ahead after 47 minutes when he converted a cross by Danny Brookwell at the far post.
They doubled that lead three minutes later when Nathan Craig converted a penalty awarded for handball.
Flint pulled a goal back when Jack Lewis scored after 70 minutes, but Caernarfon’s 10 men held on to earn the three points.
It was, though, an encouraging performance by Flint at their Cae-Y-Castell stadium.

Rhyl fought back from a goal down to beat Llandudno Junction 3-1 at Corbett Sports Stadium.
Sean McCaffrey put Junction ahead, while Rhyl equalised through Jordan Barrow after 41 minutes and then put his team in front.
Their third goal came from a Stewart Carroll penalty after James Murphy was fouled.
Asa Hamilton led the charge for Guilsfield in a 4-2 win against Holyhead Hotspur.
John Littlemore and a penalty converted by Jamie McDaid gave Holyhead a 2-0 lead, but Hamilton scored all four goals for the Gulls to snatch victory for his team. Guilsfield led 3-2 by half-time and extended that advantage after the break.
