Caernarfon Town, leaders of the Huws Gray Alliance, have two matches in three days, both against teams in the bottom three.
They are at home against Caersws at the Oval this afternoon, while they travel to play bottom club Llandudno Junction on Bank Holiday Monday.
Manager Sean Eardley team have five matches left in their quest to be crowned champions and earn promotion to the Welsh Premier League.
After this weekend they play Ruthin Town (away), Caersws (away) and Gresford Athletic (away).
Eardley has been delighted with the support the Cofis have had, saying before today’s final home fixture of the season: “The @CaernarfonTown boys have been brilliant since I’ve come in and fully deserve a big send off
“Your support has been fantastic all season too. Bring a mate down and share a beer with us at the end of the game.
“Only one, though, with another game Monday.”
Three matches scheduled for this afternoon have been called off because of the weather.
A statement by Denbigh Town says: “We are sorry to inform everybody that due to the heavy rain all night the pitch at Denbigh is waterlogged.
“There has been a referee pitch inspection and it has been deemed unplayable.
“The game at Denbigh today is therefore OFF and is postponed for a later date. Apologies to all who had made plans.”
The Denbigh v Rhyl clash is a fixture is important to the chase for third place in the Alliance.
Both clubs are chasing a top three finish with Rhyl in third place on 47 points, three ahead of Denbigh. Rhyl have also played four more games than Denbigh.
Denbigh won 5-3 winners the teams met at the Corbett Sports Stadium in December with goals from Josh Davies (2), Warren Duckett, Kristian Pierce and Joe Culshaw.
Mark Connelly (2) and Phil Marsh were the Rhyl scorers in a brilliant game that saw the lead change three times.
Denbigh’s Culshaw was doubtful after suffering an ankle injury last week and new striker Matthew Worrall is unavailable.
Reserve team players Sam Tate and Andy Thomas had been called into the Denbigh squad.
Gresford v Guilsfield and Penrhyncoch v Holywell Town are also postponed.
