Barry Town’s Jenner Park has been announced as the venue for the 27th Nathaniel MG Cup Final between Cardiff Met and Cambrian & Clydach Vale.

The final will be played on Saturday 19 January and shown live on S4C, with a 19:30 kick off, it has been confirmed.

The first all-south Wales Final in the history of the competition will also produce a new name on the trophy, as the two sides look to become only the ninth winner of the Cup since it began in 1992/93.

Cardiff Met were runners-up in the competition last season, losing 1-0 in the Final to The New Saints at Park Avenue. Cambrian meanwhile have reached the Final for the first time, having knocked out four JD Welsh Premier League teams en route.

Jenner Park has hosted a number of big games down the years, not least UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup qualifying matches, as well as last season’s ‘C’ International match against England, but this will be the first time the ground has hosted a major domestic cup final.

Ticket details for the game have also been announced and are as follows:
Adults – £7
Senior Citizens and Students – £3
Under 16 – £1.

Further information on where to purchase tickets from will be announced in due course.
