Merthyr Town are aiming for a return to winning ways when they play two Southern League home fixtures in four days.
Royston Town make the trip from Hertfordshire to South Wales on Saturday (3pm), while Premier Division leaders Tiverton visit the Loadlok Community Stadium next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Manager Gavin Williams and his team need the boost of a home win against Royston before they turn to the big clash with Devon club Tivvy on the 3G playing surface in Merthyr.
Former Cardiff City defender Curtis McDonald returned to the Martyrs squad for their 2-1 FA Cup defeat at Havant and Waterlooville last weekend and could be available.
McDonald has been out for some time with a groin injury, but has been working his way back to match fitness.
Striker Stuart Fleetwood, another ex-Bluebirds player, was rested from the starting line-up.
Both are experienced players and could well start against Royston, who are managed by former Birmingham City and Leyton Orient midfield player Steve Castle.

Merthyr Town FC hold an owner’s meeting in Romans bar on Thursday, October 5 (7pm).
A draft of the business plan will be issued to members a week before the meeting, allowing them to consider proposals and contribute to the evening with any questions and suggestions.
The Martyrs also have their monthly open supporter’s meeting this Saturday in Webley’s bar from 1pm. Supporter Liaison Officers will be present to answer any queries.
