Wrexham powered into the Emirates FA Cup second round thanks to a convincing team display against Weston-super-Mare away.
The Dragons won 2-0 and are one of four Welsh clubs who still have an interest in the competition.Newport defeated Metropolitan Police 2-0 in Surrey, while Cardiff City and Swansea City come in at the third round stage.
Wrexham, who stand top of Vanarama National League Premier, will be number 40 in the draw when it’s made on Monday evening.

Luke Summerfield and Stuart Beavon scored Wrexham’s goals at Weston in front of more than 400 travelling spectators.
Wrexham are unbeaten in their last eight matches – six wins and two draws – and now focus on Maidstone United away in a League match next Saturday.
The opening exchanges at Woodspring Stadium in Somerset were dominated by the visitors. Chris Holroyd went close, while Kevin Roberts sending over a teasing cross which eluded two red shirts in the middle of the home goal.
An early injury to striker Jarrad Welch saw him first receive treatment, but then acknowledged he couldn’t continue and on 13 minutes he was replaced by Jamie Lucas.

A sweeping Wrexham move on 45 minutes saw the ball drop kindly for Beavon, but with the goal at his mercy he was unable to worry goalkeeper Luke Purnell.
The breakthrough came on 52 minutes when Beavon spotted the overlapping Summerfield and, from a tight angle on the left, the midfield player fired his shot off the inside of the far post to give Wrexham the lead.
Weston hit back when former Cardiff City youth striker Gethyn Hill fired in an angled drive that goalkeeper Rob Lainton was happy to punch away. The ball fell for Ben Swallow, another ex-Bluebirds junior, pounced 0on the loose ball, but fired over.
Wrexham’s second goal came after 81 minutes when Rekeil Pyke passed inside to Beavon and his first effort was parried by the ‘keeper.
Beavon buried the rebound from 16 yards.

Weston kept battling, but Wrexham saw out their victory. Beavon was given a standing ovation by away fans when he went off after 88 minutes with Nicky Deverdics taking over.
