CEO Ken Choo, said: “I’m delighted to see that the Football League has shortlisted Cardiff City Football Club for its ‘Community Club of the Year’ award.

“We’re very proud to have been nominated for this category in particular.

“I think great credit should go to all staff here at the Club and within our Foundation for the efforts that they continue to make to improve the lives of others.”

The nomination recognises City’s increasing efforts to play a bigger part in the life of Wales’ capital city by visiting schools and other organisations to get people interested in football.
