Tozer has built a reputation as a long throw expert and his current team, Cheltenham Town, have one of the smallest pitches in the Football League.

“We’re going to have to deal with Ben’s long throws,” said Flynn.

“It’s just one of those things and we have a long throw as well which will be even longer because it’s quite narrow at Cheltenham.

“Hopefully, Ben throws it over the crossbar and the ball goes out for a goal kick.”

Hosts Cheltenham are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and have kept four successive clean sheets, although they are the only team to have not won at home in the league all season.

County have won their last three fixtures and kept three clean sheets with Flynn saying: “This match has a derby feel.

“Cheltenham are a team scrapping down the bottom. It’s going to be tough.

“If my players play to the best of their abilities and don’t make any mistakes, then they can beat anybody in League Two.

“That’s not me being arrogant, that’s me knowing what I’ve got in the building.

“We need luck again with injuries and suspensions, but we have to keep focused.”

More than 1,000 Newport fans could make the trip to Cheltenham, a city around one hour’s drive from South Wales.
