Wales’ Games Hero Mould Relishing Racing In Aberystwyth

Wales’ Commonwealth Games road race silver medalist Jon Mould is looking forward to a return to home soil next weekend as Aberystwyth hosts a 10-day festival of cycling. Newport-born Mould will be leading defending team champions JLT Condor as they compete in the OVO Energy Tour Series on the streets of the Ceredigion seaside town next Saturday evening.

Ospreys Warned To Expect Early Ulster Onslaught As Europe Beckons

Brad Davies has warned his Ospreys players they must withstand an Ulster onslaught in their Guinness Pro 14 play-off for a European Champions spot. Bridgend Athletic Bid To Defend Title Against Pontypridd

Bridgend Athletic are looking to hold onto their Principality National Youth League title this weekend (Saturday) as they take on Pontypridd at Rodney Parade (7.00pm). Having successfully retained their Ospreys A league crown, the Bridgend side duly saw off Scarlets regional champions Crymych 33-19 in Carmarthen to make it back-to-back finals. If they can hold onto their title it would be the perfect tribute to Bridgend Athletic co-founder Clive Easterbrook, who died earlier this month and was laid to rest this week.
