Brian Flynn has returned to Wrexham as assistant manager to Bryan Hughes to help their promotion push back into the Football League. After a 21-year playing career, making 100 league appearances for Wrexham, he became player/manager in 1989 before going on to manage the club for 12 years including the famous FA Cup victory over Arsenal. “I am delighted to return and support Bryan at a club that is very special to me,” said Flynn after joining the National League table-toppers.

The revamped festival of running will return with a trio of races on Saturday 18th May. A stunning 10K race through the countryside surrounding Builth Wells will be the main feature of the revamped event. Pembrokeshire teenager Tom Llewellin scored a magnificent result on his first forestry rally in a Group 4 historic-spec Escort Mk2, when he won the Pirelli Welsh Forest Rally Championship Under 23 section on the Visit Conwy Cambrian National B Rally. The 17-year old son of double British Rally Champion Dai Llewellin stunned the historic rally fraternity with his speed, finishing 21st overall on the opening round of the series. Co-driven by Ross Whittock, Llewellin leads the U23 Welsh Rally Championship category – which has an end of season prize for the winning driver of a test in a PCRS Rallysport team Hyundai i20 R5. The reward is courtesy of the UK arm of On The Pace Notes, which is a pace note supply and co-driver advanced training programme run by former World Rally Championship co-driver Craig Parry.
