What's on in Wales

The Six Nations may be just around the corner, but there are still two more rounds of the United Rugby Championship to survive for the Wales hopefuls and their regions.

The first of those takes place this weekend as the Scarlets lick their wounds from an unsuccessful European Champions Cup campaign and the other three Welsh sides assess their progress into the last 16 of the second tier Challenge Cup.

The Dragons - boosted by their win over Newcastle Red Bulls - travel to Ireland to face Munster on Friday night, while the Ospreys host the Lions on the same evening.

On Saturday, there are two home matches for the Welsh sides, with the Scarlets hosting Ulster and Cardiff welcoming Italian visitors, Benetton.

On the football front, Swansea City kick things off on Tuesday night when they are at home to Blackburn Rovers, while Wrexham look to bounce back from defeat to Norwich City, when they welcome Leicester City.
