In midweek, Tudno edged past Alex 2-1 at the Go Goodwins Stadium to set up an interesting return at Alyn Park this weekend.
Another three points really will put the Seasiders, still undefeated in 14 league matches, in the driving seat as 2026 approaches.
Holyhead Hotspur have improved so much in recent weeks, their manager Darren Garmey and striker Connor Owen both won the main Cymru North December awards.
Hotspur will target a fourth straight league win when they visit Brickfield Rangers, who themselves have picked up with two victories on the bounce.
This pair last met in the Ardal North West League two seasons ago, earning a win apiece.
It could be tight on Saturday, but current form gives the Holy Islanders a decent chance of leaving Wrexham with some reward.
Rhyl 1879 will be on a real high after reaching the JD Welsh Cup quarter-finals last weekend, beating a Porthmadog side which had eliminated the Lilywhites' next opponents, Buckley, in a previous round.
Bucks have won three of their most recent four in the league, but have also conceded 10 goals in the last two matches against sides in the lower reaches of the table.
Rhyl, meanwhile, are unbeaten in four games and in their last league test stunned second-place Holywell Town with a 3-1 victory.
All this makes Saturday's encounter at The Globe between Buckley and Rhyl 1879 very difficult to predict and a draw may well be the safest call.
DRAGON SIGNS FAW AMATEUR TROPHY
Four North Wales teams are already into the last eight of the Amateur Trophy and a fifth will join them on Saturday when Ardal North West rivals Llanrwst United and CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 clash at Gwydir Park.
City have already defeated the Rwsters 5-0 and 3-0 this season in the league and Ardal North League Cup respectively.
However, with such a big prize at stake, Llanrwst would love to be the team which ends 1876's mighty 22-match unbeaten record this season. Leighton Griffiths' men are always capable of a big performance and springing a surprise, can they upset the odds this weekend?
ARDAL NORTH EAST
Leaders Llanuwchllyn will at the very least look to maintain their eight-point advantage when they welcome Dolgellau AA.
With 14 goals scored and none conceded in their last three wins, Sion Tudor's side only look to be getting stronger, but could face a decent test from a Dol outfit always with a penchant for finding the net.
Third entertains second when Knighton Town take on Bow Street. Town are undefeated in six, while Bow have six consecutive wins behind them, so something has to give.
Corwen have been without a league game for a month due to the weather and after three losses in a row could do with a morale boost when they greet unpredictable Llanfair.
Rhos Aelwyd look a good shot to build on last weekend's 7-1 thumping of Lex when they visit Kerry, although the Lambs did well to grab a 1-1 draw at Ponciau Park early in the season.
After last weekend's 5-0 hammering at Llanuwchllyn, Penycae will be determined to bounce back in style when lowly Llangollen Town visit Afoneitha Road.
Expect a close contest when Radnor Valley and Llanrhaeadr take the field at The Bypass. Radnor edged the honours 3-2 away when thie pair locked horns back in August.
ARDAL NORTH WEST
Connah's Quay Town will aim to extend their unbeaten run to four league games when they host a Mynydd Isa side without a win in five attempts on Friday night.
The rest of the Ardal North West fixtures take place on Saturday afternoon.
After a sequence of eight wins came to an end on Tuesday with a home loss to leaders Bangor City 1876, Trearddur Bay seek a return to victorious ways when Bethesda Athletic land at Bangor City Stadium.
Pesda have not lost in three outings and their last two away fixtures delivered highly impressive triumphs at Llannefydd and Prestatyn Town.
Athletic must beware the striking talents of Tom Hilditch and Christoph Aziamale - 35 goals between them so far this term for Bay.
Two teams on a high do battle at Cae Bob Parry as Llangefni Town, who have just made the FAW Amateur Trophy quarters, take on Felinheli, winners of their last two against strong opponents and scoring 10 goals in the process.
Revenge will be on NFA's minds when they play at home against a Penmaenmawr Phoenix side which has beaten the Rhyl hopefuls in both the league and FAW Amareur Trophy at Cae Sling this season.
Llay Welfare will also seek retribution at home to a Prestatyn Town which turned over the Welly 2-0 at Bastion Gardens early in the campaign. The Wrexham side also need to recover quickly after losing a long undefeated run at Felinheli in the League Cup last time out.
Following a sticky patch, CPD Llannefydd have picked themselves up with a pair of wins recently, including a 2-0 success against holders Port Talbot Town in the Amateur Trophy last Saturday.
Llan will surely fancy their chances of three points when they welcome a Pwllheli side which has lost five of their last six matches.
