JD CYMRU NORTH
Flintshire take on Powys in both northern semi-finals of the Welsh Blood Service League Cup on Saturday.
National and northern cup holders Airbus UK Broughton will host Newtown, while Guilsfield welcome Buckley Town to the PRS Recruitment Stadium.
Cymru North leaders Airbus have taken four points out of six against the Robins in the league, winning 3-0 at Latham Park and drawing 2-2 at Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
Guilsfield have already beaten the Bucks twice this season, 1-0 at home and 2-1 at The Globe.
Just two league matches this Saturday, Mold Alexandra home to Denbigh Town and Penrhyncoch entertaining Gresford Athletic.
Third-from-bottom and without a league victory in eight attempts, Alex lost 3-1 at Denbigh back in August. Mold have been boosted this week by the loan signing of young striker Max McGoona from Colwyn Bay and right-back James Stevens from Prestatyn Town.
Denbigh would rise to fourth with three points at the MKH Stadium, but are coming off the back of a 1-0 defeat at Flint Mouintain.
Much-improved Gresford Athletic beat high-flyers Holywell Town 3-2 in their last game, while after a fine run of scores, next-to-bottom Penrhyncoch have lost their last two.
LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH EAST
Top faces bottom this Saturday when Llanuwchllyn host winless Lex XI.
Despite failing to record a victory in 19 attempts, the Lawmen did grab an encouraging 2-2 draw at Radnor Valley last weekend, ending a run of nine straight losses.
Nonetheless, a Llanuwchllyn win looks a very strong possibility.
Second-place Knighton Town visit a Penycae outfit lying an impressive fourth, but without a victory in their last seven.
Third-place Bow Street will be expected to scoop maximum spoils at next-to-bottom Llangillen Town, but the Tower Field side picked up a morale-boosting victory at Llanrhaeadr recently.
Cefn Albion were hammered 4-0 at home by Llanfair United back in October, and the Cefners' recent mixed bag of form makes it difficult to predict what they might produce in the return at Mount Field.
Rhos Aelwyd will be out for a double when they journey to a Llandrindod Wells team they beat 3-1 at Ponciau Park in November. Rhos pipped Penycae 2-1 in their latest test, while Llandrindod are without a league home win in five attempts.
After winning 3-0 at Builth Wells last October, Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant will aim to repeat the dose when The Bulls land at The Recreation Field.
Radnor Valley have their sights on a sixth game without defeat when big-scoring Dolgellau Athletic visit The Bypass.
LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST
After their brave Welsh Cup quarter-final exit last weekend, Friday evening sees Trearddur Bay look to rediscover winning form in the league at home to a Prestatyn Town side which beat them 2-1 at Bastion Gardens back in October.
Winless in six matches, Connah's Quay Town will be anxious to turn the tables when they host Llay Miners Welfare, themselves without victory in four.
On Saturday, one of just two teams to take a point off leaders CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 this season have a chance to go one better.
Llannefydd grabbed a 2-2 draw at Bangor City Stadium last August and would love to end Welsh football's most prolific run on home turf.
City are still undefeated all season in 32 matches, 18 without loss in the league and have won ther last eight Ardal North West fixtures. Tough task indeed for Llan.
Having won 6-3 at Mynydd Isa six months ago, Bethesda Athletic will target another success over the Flintshire side at Parc Meurig.
However, Isa have won back-to-back league games, whereas Athletic have lost to the top two in recent days, 4-2 at Porthmadog and 8-0 away to Bangor.
Two matches with the potential to end up honours even are Llanrwst United v CPD Y Feliheli and NFA against Llangefni Town.
Third-place NFA have recorded the most draws in the league (8) and will be out for revenge having lost 1-0 at Cefni earlier this term. Both Llanrwst and Felin have produced a fair few draws between them this season.
Second-place Porthmadog will be determined to keep the pressure on table-toppers Bangor when they take on Pwllheli away in a local derby.
The last game at Y Traeth saw a 2-0 victory for Port with Osian Evans grabbing a brace.
This return match will be a tough one for Port against a fast-improving Pwllheli side, who have in their ranks Hari Lambe, Cian Pritchard and Marcus Banks, all with something to prove against their former club.
Penmaenmawr Phoenix landed a priceless 1-0 win at Connah's Quay in midweek and will go all out for more of the same at home to basement boys St Asaph City.
