Newport County have signed midfielder Dale Gorman from League Two rivals Leyton Orient on loan until the end of the season. The 23-year-old has played 17 matches for Orient this season, but has not figured since their 4-2 defeat to Forest Green Rovers in November. A Northern Ireland international at U21 level, Gorman began his league career with Stevenage in May 2015 after leaving hometown club, Letterkenny Rovers.

Steve Cooper has revealed his new signing Rhian Brewster turned down a number of other clubs before joining Swansea City. Rhian Brewster has been urged by his former Liverpool teammate Yan Dhanda to come and make an impact at Swansea City. The Swansea boxer will face Julio Cesar Martinez for the WBC flyweight title in Frisco, Texas on February 29.
