The Dragon Diary

The Dragon Diary

They call it the “fallow week” or the “break week” but whatever you labelled it, Wales did not actually lose a Six Nations game at the weekend.

But having taken a week off from a more compact tournament, Steve Tandy’s  men are back in action on Friday night.

Wales will look to win a match in the Championship at the 15th time of asking, although some might say it’s asking a lot to expect them to beat Ireland in Dublin.

There is plenty of tasty-looking Welsh football to get stuck into this week, as well.

Cardiff City host Lincoln on Saturday as the top two clubs in League One meet in the Welsh capital.

Before then – on Tuesday night – Newport County have a massive game at home to Tranmere Rovers as they bid to lift themselves off the bottom of League Two.
