What's on in Wales

What's on in Wales

The pool stages of European rugby comes to an end this weekend, with all four Welsh teams still in the hunt for the knockout stages.

That says as much about the generous nature of the tournaments as it does about the form of the Welsh regions, however.

But in spite of recent defeats for the Scarlets, the Ospreys and the Dragons, all three carry hopes of going further - or have already secured it in the case of the Ospreys - when they resume action, starting with the Dragons at home to Newcastle in the Challenge Cup on Friday night.

Cardiff - who are already guaranteed a place in the last 16 of the Challenge Cup - go to Exeter Chiefs on Sunday.
