What's on in Wales

What's on in Wales

The Six Nations kicks off this weekend . . . well, actually, no, it doesn’t.

In something of a kick in the proverbials for all traditionalists, the old tournament starts on Thursday night.

That’s right . . . Thursday. In Paris. At ten past eight in the evening.

Stranger still, maybe, would be for Wales to start with a victory away to England at Twickenham on Saturday. Wales have not won there for 11 years, the stunning World Cup pool stage victory of 2015.

The last time Wales beat England anywhere was the World Cup warm-up game of August 2023.

Italy at home to Scotland comes before the Wales game.
