Many of the biggest fighting names in Wales and across Europe met in Cardiff to weigh in for Cage Warriors 104, the biggest MMA event Welsh history.

In the main event of tonight’s major event at Viola Arena in Cardiff Bay, World bantamweight champion and Welshman Jack Shore will take on Scottish challenger Scott Malone.

Both men made championship weight successfully – now all that’s left to do is fight!

Respect was mutual as both men stepped to the scales, but the flags draped across their shoulders acted as a reminder of the scale of this bout.

For Shore, a win will keep his unbeaten streak intact and see him defend his belt for the first time on the biggest night of MMA in his country’s history.

Welsh welterweight Aaron Khalid takes on 26-fight veteran Tom Watson,

For Malone, this is a chance to launch his name into the spotlight and win a world title for Scotland in front of fans who have travelled nearly 400 miles to support him.

In the co-main event, Welsh welterweight Aaron Khalid takes on 26-fight veteran Tom Watson, who makes his Cage Warriors debut after a 7-fight run with the UFC (the biggest MMA promotion on the planet).

Elsewhere on the main card another unbeaten Welshman, Mason Jones, takes on Donovan Desmae from Belgium, and Jamie Richardson comes up against Phil Wells in a re-match after their last fight at CW99.

Opening up the main card is Cory McKenna, who returns to Wales after a tough fight camp in California under the watchful eye of UFC legend Urijah Faber.

She faces Sweden’s Fannie Redman, another exciting female prospect.

On the pro-prelims, look out for appearances from Wales’ own Josh Reed, Kris Edwards and Cage Warriors Academy Grand Prix winner Oban Elliott.
