Welsh Wizards take on the champions in Premier Squash League home action this Tuesday.

Cardiff-based Wizards will be led by Egyptian ace Omar Mosaad (see video below) against St George’s Hill and he will be backed up by four World-ranked Welsh players.

St George’s were crowned PSL champions last season, beating Tradition@RAC 3-2 in the final with World number one Mohamed ElShorbagy clinching their victory.

Now the title winners take on Wizards in front of a sell-out attendance at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff on Tuesday.

The four Welsh players are Tesni Evans, Peter Creed, Emyr Evans and Elliott Morris-devred, who all have a chance of winning.

All five St George’s players are ranked among the World’s top 100 players, while Mosaad, Creed and Tesni Evans all have crucial roles to play if the home team are to inflict a first defeat on their visitors.

All three are ranked ahead of their scheduled opponents in what is likely to be a hugely competitive evening.

PSL is the strongest club league in the World squash and Wizards are ready to take on the champions.

Neither of the ElShorbagy brothers – Mohamed plays for St George’s, Marwan for Wizards – are available for Tuesday’s clash, while the home team are also missing French World number six Gregory Gaultier.

Cairo-born Mosaad, a tell, imposing player nicknamed the ‘Hammer of Thor’, takes on England international Tom Richards in the first string match.

Elliott Morris-devred, who plays out of Cardiff SRC, takes on a tough match at fourth string when he plays Spain’s Carlos Cornes.

British champion Tesni, who lives in North Wales, was in line to play New Zealand’s Joelle King, but the World nu

mber seven has returned home and is replaced by Jasmine Hutton.
