Natasha Shatters Best And Josh In Fine Marathon Form In Dublin Too

Natasha Cockram catapulted into fifth place on the Welsh all-time marathon list after shattering her personal best in Dublin.

The Gwent runner clocked two hours 35 minutes 49 seconds when finishing fourth in the women’s race.

Cockram took nine minutes off the time she set when winning the inaugural Newport Marathon in April.

The MMRT runner, 25, is showing she is over the injuries that affected her after returning from a four-year spell at Tulsa University in the United States.

Josh Griffiths clocked his second best time for the marathon with a time of 2:16.09 when finishing seventh in the men’s race in Dublin.

The Swansea Harrier’s best was the 2:14.49 he set on his astonishing marathon debut in London 2017 to earn selection for the worlds.
