Mason ‘The Dragon’ Jones has urged UFC bosses to put him up against the ‘biggest, deadliest monster’ they can find after joining fight legend Conor McGregor in the history books.
The Blaenavon martial arts expert has become only the second fighter to hold two Cage Warriors titles – emulating the Irishman’s feat.
Jones demolished Adam Proctor with a brutal technical knockout in the first round at Cage Warriors 116 on Saturday night to add the welterweight crown to his lightweight belt.

Now he wants to make the move to the UFC series as he issued a direct plea for them to put up the biggest opponent they can muster.
“What I want to really say is I asked Graham [Boylan, Cage Warriors president] and Ian [Dean] to dig up the biggest monster they could find and unfortunately it’s not enough,” said Jones after his victory.
“So I’ve got a challenge for Dana White [UFC president], for Sean Shelby, for anyone in the UFC looking, I’ll be ready in a week, two weeks, four weeks.
“Find the biggest, deadliest lightweight monster you can find because I’m a lightweight guy and I’ll go out there and dismantle him, whether it’s Abu Dhabi which is kind of looking good or anywhere else.
“Dig me out the biggest monster you can find and I’ll put him away in two [rounds].”
Jones, who won the lightweight title in March with a knockout victory over Ireland’s Joe McColgan took his perfect Cage Warriors record to 10-0 with his victory.
“They look good on my shoulders,” said the 25-year-olf after making history.
“The game plan was to go out and hurt him [Proctor] and I hurt him early and then I pushed to finish him and that’s what I do,” said the 25-year-old.
“This was a legacy fight for me, and the game plan was to go out there and hurt him and push for the finish.
“This is what I do. I knew I could get him out of there early, and I went in there and showed that.”
