Power forward Joey Haddad returns to the Cardiff Devils team this weekend.

Canadian Haddad, who sparks up this Devils team, is fit and available to play against Manchester Storm and Dundee Stars.

“Joey Haddad has been outstanding for us,” said Devils player-coach Andrew Lord.

“There have been a number of games he completely took over or broke open a match for us and that is what makes fans love him so much.

“He is a big body, dominates in the corners and is tough to play against.

“A number of teams wanted to sign Joey last summer, but he loves it in Cardiff.”

Haddad is in his fourth season playing for Devils and he was voted club forward of the year in 2016-17 after scoring 24 goals and 29 assists in 66 games.

That was a crucial tally for the power forward as Devils were crowned League champions.

Haddad has been out for 11 matches, having scored five points in seven appearances this season.

He is in the Devils squad for their fixtures against Storm in Altrincham this evening (Saturday, 7pm) and at home against Dundee Stars tomorrow (6pm).

A win against Manchester would lift Devils above their hosts in the League table.

The only meeting between Storm and Devils so far saw the Storm win 6-1 at Ice Arena Wales and Cardiff players will remember the pain of that crushing defeat when they face coach Ryan Finnerty’s team for the second time.

Storm have a good record at home, winning nine of their last 10, and are keen to keep such a terrific run going.

There are less than 200 tickets left for Sunday’s Devils v Stars clash. They are available via 0800 0842 666 or book online CLICK HERE
