Wales emerged victorious in an under-17 tri-tournament against Team Bath and Mavericks.

The event helped Wales get over their disappointment of the Netball Europe Under-17 tournament being cancelled.

The tri-tournament was a big opportunity for Wales to play some fiercely competitive netball against quality opposition.

Scores: Wales 56, Team Bath 52; Wales 49, Mavericks 44.

Celtic Dragons play Loughborough Lightning live on Sky television this evening (Monday).

The clash is a Vitality Netball Superleague at the Sport Wales National Centre (7pm).

Australian coach Julie Hoornweg and her players are intent on springing a Superleague surprise in a big match for the Dragons.
