Andrew Hotham is playing alongside brother Scott again with Stoney Creek Generals. They linked up with Cardiff Devils during 2016-17 when Devils won the Elite League title and Challenge Cup.

Scott, 32, has been playing for Generals over the last two seasons and Andrew has opted to join his brother and possibly end his career in Hamilton, Ontario.

Andrew was voted Elite League player of the season and defenceman of the season, scoring almost 300 points (63 goals/230 assists) in more than 200 matches for Devils.

He opted to step back from Elite League hockey last season and Devils are still looking to replace a D-man who was always difficult to replace.

Scott Hotham, who played for Cardiff Devils in the 2016-17 Elite League title-winning team.

Devils are still searching for an offensive defenceman to strengthen a team who have started the domestic season in style.

They have already qualified for the Challenge Cup quarter-finals with two group fixtures left and are challenging the leadung teams in Elite hockey.

Tickets are on sale for Devils’ back-to-back home fixtures this weekend. They play Sheffield on Saturday (7pm) and Fife the next evening with an earlier than usual face-off time of 4pm.
