The undefeated South Wales Warriors complete their regular season fixtures on Sunday with the final play-off places still to be decided.

The visitors to Llanharan Rugby Club’s Dairy Field ground are the Cornish Sharks who have nothing but pride to play for.

However the 7 and 0 Warriors are one of three undefeated sides that have all secured their British American Football Association Southern Conference Division Two divisional titles.

This weekend’s final round of fixtures will determine seedings for the play-offs with the west champions the Warriors as well as the east winners the Essex Spartans and south champs London Blitz B guaranteed the top three seeding places.

The Warriors could even find themselves facing west rivals the Bristol Apache, who can qualify as either the seventh or eighth seeds, in the play-offs.

Essex Spartans are currently ranked number one having given up the least points per game on average and like the Warriors they complete their regular season this weekend while Blitz B wrapped up their perfect 8 and 0 season last weekend.

The focus for the Warriors on Sunday (2.30pm) will be to complete a perfect season agains the team they opened their campaign against with a convincing 33-0 victory in Newquay.

The Warriors haven’t played in a month since their tight 10-6 home victory over second best in the west Torbay Trojans at the beginning of July which secured the divisional crown.

The Sharks faced a tough trip a fortnight ago to Torbay and lost 52-20 and must complete their season with their furthest away fixture.

They will no doubt be hoping the Warriors will be resting several starters but even if they do home head coach Geraint Roberts will demand a committed performance with no drop in standards.

The Sharks only victory this campaign came in their fourth game with 20-6 away victory over the winless Worcestershire Black Knights.
