Drane To Lead Celtic Dragons In Key Year For Welsh Netball

Suzy Drane will skipper Celtic Dragons in the upcoming 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

Suzy Drane will skipper Celtic Dragons in the upcoming 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

The Wales captain will be backed up by fellow Welsh international Kelly Morgan for what is a key year for club and country.

The Dragons launch their Superleague campaign on Monday 12 February  by hosting benecosMavericks.

But the season will also take a break for the Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast next April.

Drane said: “It’s a privilege to be have been named as captain.

“I’m excited to be working with great management and team-mates in what will be a very important year for the Welsh franchise with the build-up to the World Cup qualifiers and the Commonwealth games.

Morgan added:“I’m so excited to be a part of Celtic Dragons again. It’s set to be jam-packed with excitement.”
