Celtic Dragons are coming home and are in the mood to make their mark on Vitality Superleague Netball.

Cardiff-Based Dragons have played all of their futures on the road so far, but are heading back to South Wales for a series of top level fixtures at Sport Wales National Centre.

Their first match in Cardiff is against Loughborough Lightning on Saturday, April 3 (7.45pm).

The match will celebrate the Green Army supporters and fans who wear green at the match will receive a free programme.

In their latest Superleague match, Dragons travelled to play leaders Surrey Storm.

The starting seven for Dragons was Bethan Dyke (WA), Kyra Jones (C), Kalifa McCollin (GA), Kelly Morgan (GK), Stacey Peeters (WD), Lois Rideout (GD), Eleanor Roberts (GS).

The first quarter was fast and furious. Dragons achieved some good turn-overs and they stayed in contention.

Storm increased their lead in the second quarter, but the work ethic and spirit of Dragons players was outstanding and they won the third quarter.

Surrey are having an outstanding season and they clinched victory 69-47.

Quarter scores (Storm first): 18-14; 22-11 (40-25); 12-16 (52-41); 17-6 (69-47).

In their previous match Dragons travelled to play Hertfordshire Mavericks and were edged out 53-49. It was extremely close and hard fought, but the Welsh team could not quite snatch a win.

At one stage Dragons hit the Mavs for seven unanswered goals and were on top.
