Cardiff Devils have thrown a team training session open to supporters next Wednesday.

Fans will watch head coach Andrew Lord lead an hour-long session at Ice Arena Wales before all players mix with the Red Army fans in the main bar.

There will be brief chats with all Devils’ new signings including Stephen Dixon, Ben Blood and Mike Hedden.

It is the first chance for supporters to meet the team for 2018-18 when Lord’s men play in the European Champions League and go for a third successive Elite League title.

The training session will start at 6.30pm before players and fans meet up in the bar an hour later.

Devils will also be holding their annual game-worn jersey sponsorship raffle.

Schedule next Wednesday: 

Doors open: 5.30pm

Open training starts: 6.30pm

Post training raffle: 7.30pm

Player intros: 8pm (approx.)

Devils have extended the deadline for season ticket holders to book their seats for Champions League and pre-season.

The new deadline is Friday at 5pm.

A club statement said: “After a busy day trying to take all the last minute bookings, we opted to extend the deadline until the end of the week to ensure all season ticket holders that had put it off until now have more time to book.”
