More than 500 Cardiff Devils attended Cardiff City Hall for the Elite League club’s awards night.

Canadian forward Joey Martin was the big winner with three trophies, lifting the club’s leading scorer (27 goals + 46 assists = 73 points), forward of the year and most valuable player.

The 29-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable four seasons playing for Cardiff Devils and there is no question he is among their priority signings when it comes to 2018-19.

Devils have lifted two League titles, three Erhardt Conference titles and won the Challenge Cup on two occasions – seven major championships in since 2014 with Martin in their ranks.

Bryce Reddick was named coaches player of the year by Andrew Lord, while Justin Faryna lifted the fans favourite prize and Andrew Hotham was defenceman of the year.
