- Welsh Partnership David And Jack Are Winners Again
David Brace OBE and 16-year-old jockey Jack Tudor were back in the winners’ enclosure at Berkeley Hunt’s Point-To-Point Steeplechases (writes Brian Lee).
Less than 24 hours after landing the Dunraven Bowl Novices Hunter Chase at Chepstow Racecourse with Pink Eyed Pedro, Brace and Tudor were winners again after Tudor riding Brace’s 12-year-old bay gelding William Money won the novice riders’ race.
Brace is based at Dunraven Stud, Pyle, near Bridgend, while Tudor is from Merthyr Mawr.
Chepstow’s Tom Faulker who had two runners in the Dunraven Bowl Mister Robbo and GoWell who were both pulled-up had something to smile about when his Dino Boy took the young horse maiden race.
Berkeley Races at Woodford are held in the Berkeley Vale countryside with the 12th century Berkeley Castle providing a backdrop to the course.
