Teenager Jack Tudor landed a double at Sunday’s Melton Hunt Club Point-To-Point at Garthorpe and both were trained by his father Jonathan Tudor who is also having a cracking season.

The 17-year-old Jac, from Merthyr Mawr, rode a winner at the Gelligaer Farmers fixture on Saturday and followed that with his two-timer.
He won the club members’ race aboard his godfather Philip Thomas’ eight-year-old bay gelding Blazing Tom and the novice riders’ race on Steve Young’s 11-year-old bay gelding NorthGeorge.
Llancarfan’s Evan Williams won last year’s Haydock Swinton Handicap Hurdle with Silver Streak, but had to settle for third place this time.

His John Constable, ridden by stable jockey Adam Wedge, was beaten by two 20-1 shots, Le Patriote and Project Bluebook, in a 17-runner field.
Evan, though, was back in the winner’s enclosure on Sunday after his seven-year-old Marble Moon won the novices’ handicap chase at Ludlow.
The bottom weighted Marble Moon, a 6-1 chance, won by six lengths from the well fancied Heydour.
Aberthin’s Tim Vaughan landed the maiden hurdle at Hexham with Eva’s Oskar, who scored by four-and-a-half lengths from Flemens Story.
Welsh jockey Connor Brace won the handicap hurdle at Plumpton on 9-2 chance Alanjou.
At Lingfield’s Saturday evening meeting, Welsh-speaking jockey David Probert, from Bargoed, landed a 39-1 double with Neff (7-1) and Dance Legend (4-1).
