The former national novice champion point-to-point rider won the Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle on six-year-old Carolls Milan, who was completing a three-timer and then took the closing Novices Handicap Hurdle on the top-weighted Paint The Dream.

The former, a 3-1 chance, got home by three parts of a length from NiceAndEasy and the latter, who was made the 4-1 favourite in a field of 14 runners, won by three lengths from Amberose completing a 19-1 double.
