Welsh jockey Connor Brace had two rides at far flung Perth in Scotland for his guvnor, Cotswold trainer Fergal O’Brien, and won on both (writes Brian Lee).

The former national novice champion point-to-point rider won the Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle on six-year-old Carolls Milan, who was completing a three-timer and then took the closing Novices Handicap Hurdle on the top-weighted Paint The Dream.

The former, a 3-1 chance, got home by three parts of a length from NiceAndEasy and the latter, who was made the 4-1 favourite in a field of 14 runners, won by three lengths from Amberose completing a 19-1 double.

It’s going to be Madness at Ffos Las Racecourse on Saturday, May 25.

The iconic group will perform live for thousands of racegoers after a meeting at the West Wales course on that day.

Ffos Las is certain to be a hit House of Fun and tickets are on sale for £40pp (£45pp on the day).
Children’s tickets (Aged 17 & under) are £20pp and are available to purchase on the day from the racecourse with proof of age.
There will be a shuttle bus from Llanelli train station to the racecourse at 2.30pm, 2.45pm, 3.00pm, 3.30pm, 3.45pm and 4pm. Return coaches will leave between 10.45pm and 11.10pm
