Ryan Howells was that old standby “over the moon” after he scored the winning goal to claim his first silverware for Fairwater in the Parker Harris Spooner Cup Final on Tuesday night. Fairwater FC needed a late goal from Howells to overcome Caerau Ely seconds’ resistance and win the game 2-1 for Casey Warren’s men. The off-court revolution in Welsh Netball has been completed with the appointment of six new non-executive directors. The expanded board is the fulfilment of a pledge made following in the wake of a skills-based audit conducted after a change in articles at the AGM in June.
