- Welsh Racer Caleb McDuff Unveils Ambitious Three Year Pathway To BTCC
That would make him the first deaf driver to have competed in the BTCC, should his development plan come to fruition.
McDuff, who is predominantly deaf, spoke to DragonSports and revealed his ambition.
“My big dream is to become the first deaf driver in the British Touring Car Championship,” he said.
“That's my long-term goal, and, hopefully, I can build up to that in a couple of years.”

After previously competing in the Britcar Endurance Championship with Team Brit last season, McDuff has confirmed an ambitious three-year programme for the BTCC, starting with an entry in the competitive Porsche Carrera Cup GB championship.
As the series runs alongside the prestigious British championship, this will be a great chance for the Welshman to show his talent to those teams and figures in the paddock that one day he will be hoping to work with.
McDuff has recently competed in the Veterans Race of Remembrance with Team Brit in the USA, where he and his team finished in third place.
It was a good first impression from the teenager in what was his first competitive overseas race.
Away from the track, he also announced a school tour at the end of last year, aiming to inspire and to empower young deaf children across Wales and the UK, as they look to build on their awareness of what those who are hard of hearing can achieve.
There have also been new additions to his support team, including the appointment of Dave Player as Business Development Manager, as momentum continues to build behind McDuff’s project.
