Alys Thomas added to Britain’s medal haul at the Japan Open with bronze in the 50m butterfly.
The Swansea Aquatics swimmer clocked a personal best of 26.79secs at the Tatsumi International Pool in Tokyo.
Thomas touched just behind the Japanese duo of Rikako Ikee (25.78) and Suyuki Ouchi (26.63).
The 26-year-old is one of five Welsh swimmers who have qualified for the World Championships in Budapest in July.
Thomas – who has been on a training camp in Thailand with her team-mates – booked her place by winning the British 100m butterfly title.
Georgia Davies – another Welsh swimmer bound for Hungary – clocked 1:01.10 to win the women’s 100m backstroke B final.
James Guy, Adam Peaty, Ben Proud and Imogen Clark all won gold for Britain on the second days of the meet in Tokyo.
