The Dragon Diary

The Six Nations is over, but look-out, because here comes the World Cup!

Almost, anyway. Just the small matter of two World Cup play-off matches for Wales before they can start dreaming about another appearance at football’s greatest tournament.

Wales head coach Craig Bellamy will announce his squad on Tuesday to face Bosnia-Herzegovina on March 26.

That means he will be keeping his fingers crossed when all his players go into club action this week, including those at promotion-chasing Wrexham, who face Watford in a crunch match on Tuesday night.

Involved the same evening are Wales players for Cardiff City - at home to Wycombe Wanderers  in League One – while Newport County, in League Two, are at home to Bromley as they bid to escpae relegation.
