Former Swansea City defender Jazz Richards has completed his move to Cardiff City from Fulham.
The Wales international has agreed a three-year deal with Scott Malone going the other way with both players valued around £400,000.
Richards, 25, made 51 appearances in all competitions for Swansea City in the six years he spent with the club before his permanent move to Fulham in 2015.
The versatile full-back played 22 games but now links up with the Bluebirds
having spent some of his youth career in Cardiff.
Richards, who played in Wales’ opening Euro2016 game against Slovakia, said: “It’s brilliant to be back in Wales and I think it’s a big opportunity for me to come and play games
“I was here as a youngster and enjoyed every minute of it when I was here, so I’m glad to be back.
“I’ve trained with the gaffer before and we’ve spoken a little bit. I can see what type of manager he is going to be and that’s what has drawn me into the team.
“I just want to come and play games and do well for the club. I know a couple of the boys and I’m looking forward to getting started.
“I’ve not played a game in a while so it will be good to get some game time and fitness before the season.”
Cardiff boss Paul Trollope worked with Richards during the European Championships when he assisted Chris Coleman.
Trollope said: “I think he’ll add some different attributes to what we’ve got.
“I think he’ll fit nicely with how we’re going to try and work, the philosophy, and the style we’re going to play with.
“He’s obviously a player I know well from the Welsh set-up, and introducing another Welsh element was another big factor as well.
“I’m really delighted and excited about him playing for Cardiff this year.”
