Bob Bradley’s future as Swansea City boss is hanging in the balance – with a decision set to be taken before the New Year’s Eve game with Bournemouth.
The American’s reign is under threat after just 11 games following the 4-1 Boxing Day defeat at home to West Ham.
Chants of “We want Bradley out” and “You don’t know what you’re doing” echoed around the Liberty Stadium on Monday.
Chairman Huw Jenkins – who was also a target of angry Swans fans – held talks with American owners Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan after the game.
More talks are planned before a decision on Bradley’s future is taken with the club possibly looking for a third manager of the season.
The Swans are 19th and only off the bottom of the Premier League on goal difference from Hull City.
Bradley took a recovery session at the club’s Fairwood training base on Tuesday as speculation swirled around his future.
The ex-USA and Egypt manager’s future had seemed secure after the 3-0 victory over Sunderland.
But the nature of the defeats by West Brom, Middlesbrough and the Hammers in the space of 12 days has changed all that.
Bradley – in charge for just 85 days after taking over from Francesco Guidolin – has taken just eight points from his 11 games with only two wins.
The 58-year-old vowed to carry on but knows there will be talks given the manner of the defeats and the rising fans’ anger.
He said: “I don’t have regular dealing with the board but as a manager, when results go bad, you understand there’ll be discussions.
“That’s not anything you control, so you continue to prepare your team, try to pick the best team, make changes continue to keep going.
“I don’t make excuses after a game like this, I take responsibility, in all ways this was not good enough, especially after two straight wins at the Liberty.”
