Aaron Ramsey says his aim is to lift trophies with new club Pumas UNAM after officially joining the Mexican side following his departure from Cardiff City.
The Wales international's switch to the Liga MX side was formally announced on Thursday, with Ramsey later facing the media at a press conference.
And the 34-year-old feels his experience from being with clubs including Arsenal, Juventus, Nice and Cardiff put him in a good place ahead of his time in Mexico.
"I'm really excited by the challenge," he said.
"I've experienced a lot of things in my career and that puts me in a good place going forward.
"I realise the expectation on this club. I'm here to play my part to deliver the things we want to this season, so there's loads to look forward to and I'm excited by the next challenge.
"I know the pressures of this club, the fans are immensely proud and expect us to be challenging.
"That's something that really excites me. That's the target, to win things with this club and become part of the history."
Reports suggest Ramsey has signed a one-year contract with the Mexican club - who hold the option to extend the deal by an additional 12 months.
Pumas start their 2025-26 season against Santos Laguna on July 13.
Ramsey was released by boyhood club Cardiff in June after his contract with the Bluebirds expired.
The midfielder has long stated his desire to represent Wales at the 2026 World Cup - which takes place in the USA, Canada and his new home Mexico.
He has not featured in any of Wales' four qualifying fixtures for the tournament so far having been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
On his fitness, Ramsey commented: "I feel good. I’ve got to start progressing now but I think I’m pretty close to where I want to be and hopefully I can get on pitch as soon as possible."
