Evans Flies In For A Podium Finish In Sweden

His hopes of victory on Rally Sweden might have slipped, but Elfyn Evans will be aiming for a podium finish on tomorrow’s final leg of the event. Yesterday’s magnificent performance could not be repeated, although it wasn’t for the want of trying on the difficult changing conditions – which once again saw just as much mud and gravel and the traditional ice and snow. Swansea City are sweating on the fitness of star striker Oli McBurnie ahead of their FA Cup fifth round clash with Brentford on Sunday. He had a couple of days in bed, has been on antibiotics and has felt really low,” said Potter.

The defeat has left the region still in third place in Conference A, but Connacht, Cardiff Blues and the Cheetahs are all within just two points, having played a game fewer.
