Taine Basham Offers Flicker Of Light In The Otherwise Dark And Gloomy World Of The Dragons

Ceri Jones insists there is light at the end of the dark tunnel the Dragons have been trapped in for 16 years and it lies with the brightness shone by the region’s youth. The Dragons coach saw his team slump to a 28-15 home defeat to Ulster on Sunday – their sixth loss in seven games in 2019. It keeps the Dragons at the bottom of Conference B of the Guinness Pro14, a position that must induce hollow laughter among supporters who were told that things would be different once the Welsh Rugby Union were steering the ship.

Rally Champion Pritchard Sets Out His Goals for 2019

Jason Pritchard will begin the defence of his Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship title on the Rallynuts National Tour of Epynt Rally a week today (Sunday 10 March) – even though he hasn’t even seen his North Road Garage-backed Ford Focus WRC05 since he won the title over four months ago! The car is kept in Carlisle, meaning the Builth Wells driver rarely sees it – and as it’s an extremely busy time in the family’s Toyota dealership, Pritchard is unlikely to even sit in the powerful four-wheel drive rocket until the day before next weekend’s event. Co-driven by Phil Clarke, Pritchard will be aiming for a good start to the season, as he aims for an incredible fifth major rally title in as many years – having won a record-breaking three MSA British Historic Rally Championships in a row (2015, ’16 and ‘17) and the 2018 Asphalt Rally Championship crown.

Allan Clarke Admits Ospreys’ Death Sentence Is Sucking The Life Out Of His Players

Ospreys coach Allen Clarke has claimed the threats to the region’s survival is undermining his team. Clarke watched his side fall apart on Saturday – thrashed 46-5 at Connacht, the Irish province least renowned for dishing out any thrashings. It is one thing to leak six tries against Leinster or Munster, but quite another to do so against Connacht and Clarke believes leaked plans to kill off his region – plans that he himself made public a week before – are now taking their toll.

Graham Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets . . . When You Play Against Nine Men

Graham Potter knows Swansea City’s youngsters must improve at solving puzzles like Bolton – but he’s willing to let them learn. Whether all, or some, or even Potter himself is still around to continue the education next season remains to be seen. The Swans’ 2-0 victory at home to Bolton on Saturday was not without its frustrations as first Potter’s side struggled to break down a 10-man defensive set-up and then suffered the same thing with only nine.
